| We received a warm genteel welcome late on a Sunday evening and were immediately impressed with the decor, cleanliness and the attention to detail at the restaurant. The menu was varied without being overwhelming and at very reasonable prices. Being vegetarian myself I was pleased to see a range of options. I opted for the vegetable spring rolls and my husband had the dim sum. Sweet chili sauce was thick and delicious and the presentation very attractive. We followed with Beef Panang and Red Tofu/Vegetable curry with sticky and fragrant jasmine rice. The beef, I'm told, was tender and very tasty, while my curry was creamy and spicy with a pleasant range of fresh vegetables. Portions were generous, so much that neither of us had room to try one of the appealing-sounding desserts! The bill came and we also received 25% discount for coming on a Sunday. All in all we were both very impressed and look forward to our next visit as soon as we can! Butterbean |
