Seems Fort Langley now calls itself "Historic Fort Langley" On the card it says "Lampliter Gallery Cafe, Refined Country Cooking. Your hosts Paul and Nicoletta Buckley" Says it all really doesn't it? But it had been recommended, it was a hot day and there was nothing else in town. Lampliter has all the verve and style of Woolworths. Short and predictable menu, we had salads. They were simple, small and not expensive. We had iced tea, which was from one of those iced tea mixes. We sat outside in the garden under the shade of the trees. Let me give you some advice. Don't go to the Lampliter. Don't even go to Historic Fort Langley. Do something else. Life's too short. Rejected. 21st July 2000 DM
