The Mulberry Tree announces Programme of Summer Events

The award-winning Mulberry Tree restaurant in Boughton Monchelsea in Kent has announced a “Celebration of Kent” dinner with the winemaker Julian Barnes, the owner and winemaker of Biddenden Vineyards. Julian is ‘selling himself’ for the evening in aid of Demelza House Hospice!
“The warm, dry weather we have had over the last months has meant the growing season has got off to a fantastic early start,” said Julian, adding. “The vines are currently looking to be about three weeks ahead, and if this weather continues through the season, it could have a very positive effect as we approach harvest, particularly in the earlier ripening varieties such as Pinot Noir and Gamay.”
