Relish, 28 Camden Rd, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN12PT
28 Camden Rd, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN12PT 01892 544522 I have looked at the outside of Relish in Tunbridge Wells for well over a year, since they have lots of lovely deli things to buy in there, but what has always put me off going in is knowing whether its a shop with a few tables or whether its a cafe with things to buy on the shelves. Q eventually dragged me in there, and I can happily verify that it is both. A hefty breakfast menu, with as little as you want or as much as you want (up to eleven different choices) follows the full english route but Relish is a thoughtful enough place to make sure that the possibility of grilled mushrooms, hash browns and black pudding are always available too. A blackboard menu of mediterranean/international concoctions is prominent too, so there's plenty of choice to go round. Likewise there are also cheeses, pickles, meats and all manner of fancy things in jars to buy too. Service is very cheerful and efficient and families are positively encouraged. A real gem. M |
