I am particularly fond of Korean food, and having been given the brush off by the frankly over-priced Gaucho Grill (I wanted beef you see) it did not take long to find another destination that would satisfy my sad little obsession. There's always a pondering formality in Korean restaurants and the bill always seems to creep up frighteningly, but I have rarely left a Korean restaurant un-satisfied, under-fed or cheated. Myung Ga was no exception and our beef steak fillet (in perfect rounds) came marinated in two different sauces - absolutely fine and delicious. Kim Chi was fiery - sour leaves in a hot chili sauce and crispy seaweed in sheets of salty wafers. As always there was a feeling of "charging up" - only one rice? - but we struggled through and came away cheered by a night in the West End. M
