This is in all the guide books, so we had to try it. It’s quite hard to find, the address is a bit misleading, but wander around, you’ll find it.
Lucky we’d booked, soon after we sat down a queue of people standing waiting for a table started to build up by the door. This never makes me feel smug, it just makes me feel guilty.
Living room sized restaurant, quite sparse but elegant/friendly. Owners are two southern Italians with a Northern Italian Chef. Food is modern Italian with the emphasis on fresh food and a short simple menu.
Delighted, but not surprised to see Pizza Express top the recent Spy Pizza Poll.
