Tower Praha, a.s., Mahlerovy sady 1, Prague 3, Czech Republic

The TV tower is pretty cool. It stopped transmitting in 1992 and the cabins that jut out at the top have been converted into a sightseeing deck, a cafe and a restaurant. It looks a little odd - currently even more so as there are huge babies crawling up the side of the tower as part of an art installation - but does offer some truly spectacular views of Prague.

I didn´t even know there were wines from the Czech Republic but they have a similar climate to Germany and produce similar sort of wines. We had a 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon which had plenty of nose but not quite as bold as you might have expected (probably erring on the side of caution. Probably wisely).

Sebastians, Agios Gordios, Corfu, Greece

Agios Gordios, Corfu, Greece

If you're heading to Greece on holiday this summer and you want to find that restaurant with the perfect summer evening atmopshere, hunt out Sebastian's. We discovered this magic place 2 years ago and can't stop dreaming about our next time there! The food is traditionally greek and really delicious and the menu has plenty of choice - so you won't get stuck for something you fancy. Our favourites were their chilli feta and home-made moussaka.....yummy.

Dexter's Diner, Coco Town, Coruscant

Coco Town Coruscant

Dexter's Diner can be found in Coco Town- a part of the heart of a dilapidated industrial district on the planet Coruscant and it’s the perfect retro-restaurant get away for Nerf burgers, Jawa Juice and more. Chef/ Proprietor Dexter Jettster occasionally ventures out of the kitchen to meet with one of his regulars-so your order might take a bit longer to get to your table. But the wait is definitely worth it to catch a glimpse of the hulking, gregarious “Dex” in his grease and gunk spattered aprons. The wait staff consists of the enchanting blonde Hermione Bagwa and WA-7, a nearly ancient duomatic wait-droid. Hermoine is efficient, has an always-friendly demeanor and is very easy on the eyes. RA-7, by counterpoint, has a world weary acerbic wit that one wouldn’t expect from a droid. But the sound of her uniwheel scooting across the tiles floor in servo’d efficiency, means your order is on its way.
