First impressions of Roos Leap
are very good, nice setting overlooking Montrose coastline, large seating
area and good choice of starters/ main/ desserts. However, the staff are
mostly young (almost all girls) and are easilly distracted, forget what
you ask for and glare if they do not like you. They do not seem to operate
tables and it can get confusing when asking for something if you do not
know who your waitress is.
The food however is good,
large portions and edible. I have heard through other people that they
have waited a long time for their meals, a thing that is not good if you
have impatient children. Tha takeaway service is handy if you are not
feeling up to sitting in but the plastic containers tend to make the food
limp and "sweaty". jac007
